I am a product of the Houston County School system! I graduated from Houston County High School in 1997, and went on to gain my bachelor's degree from Georgia College and State University. I started teaching 2nd grade at Perdue Primary in 2003, where I have been ever since! After teaching for a few years, I wanted to learn even more to help my students, so I went on to earn my master's degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy from Walden University, and my specialist degree from Piedmont College in Curriculum and Instruction. There is really nothing else I have ever wanted to be, besides a teacher! I love being able to do what I am passionate about, each and every day! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married, and we have 3 wonderful children.
