Hello, I am a proud product of the Houston County School System and a graduate of Northside High School.  I attended the University of West Georgia and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work.  After working as a social worker, I decided to change my career and become a teacher! I earned a Master’s degree from Georgia Southwestern State University in Early Childhood Education.  Due to my love for teaching reading, I have also obtained a Reading Endorsement.  I taught at Northside Elementary from 2013-2021, where I served as the 2^nd grade lead teacher.   I'm so excited to be a member of the David Perdue Primary community and work with our Pandas!

I am grateful to say that I have a wonderful husband and two precious sons.  I am so thankful that I changed my career because I love teaching the amazing students we have here in Houston County!
