Hi! My name is Melanie Grant, and I am excited to be the new School Counselor at David Perdue Primary School!
I am an alumni of Houston County High School and received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Columbus State University. I also earned my Master of Science in School Counselor Education (MSEd) from Fort Valley State University and am currently working on my second master’s: School Counselor Education Specialist (Ed.S).
I am married with a son, and 2 fur babies (a dog and a rabbit) :) We will also be welcoming a new addition to the family in September 2022! I love being a School Counselor and helping our students find success socially, emotionally, and academically. I am thankful everyday to have the opportunity to work with you and your children.
