As a native of Houston County and a product of the Houston County School System, I am proud to be a Perdue Primary teacher. I graduated with a Specialist Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern State University, earned certification in gifted education, and have been a classroom teacher since 2001. I am a married mother of two children, Nicolas and Emily. I am an avid reader. My greatest joy in the classroom is watching my students learn to read and enjoy stories as much as I do.
