Hi families! I graduated from Middle Georgia State University with a Bachelors of Science dual degree for both general and special education for grades PreK-5th. I began my teaching career at a small christian school in the year 2009. After that year, I had my first child and decided to take the year with her. I subbed in Houston County part time. That led me to my next job where I worked as an upper elementary teacher for the online public charter school, Georgia Cyber Academy. I enjoyed being able to work from home with my little ones for 7 years and all the experience I gained from the online education format. Next, I joined David Perdue Elementary School where I have completed 2 years as a Reading, Writing, and Math teacher for grades 3-5. The atmosphere at DPES is one of family and I feel like it is such a good fit for myself and my own children.
