Bio

Mrs. Ashley Summers  began her teaching career in 2012, teaching Pre-K for five years before moving to Kindergarten in 2017. In 2025, she transitioned into her current role as an Early Intervention Program (EIP) teacher, where she works closely with students to help build strong foundational skills for lifelong learning.

Mrs. Summers earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education from Georgia Southern University. She is passionate about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed and feel confident in their abilities.

Outside of school, Mrs. Summers enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and their three boys—Mason, Maddox, and Michael. She brings both professional expertise and a nurturing spirit to everything she does, and she is excited to continue making a positive impact on students and families at Perdue Primary.
